The Crucible

 Tom directed Arthur Millar's iconic play  The Crucible in the Theatre At The Mill, Newtownabbey. The play was produced for Northern Regional College by Gemma McGranaghan and Choregraphed by Gary Rowntree
The play was performed by students from Northern Regional College's performing arts. Many of the cast have gone on to have careers in the performing arts.
The Crucible is a play by Arthur Miller set during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. The plot follows a group of girls in Salem, Massachusetts, who are  caught dancing in the forest and subsequently accuse others of witchcraft to deflect blame from themselves. 
The play serves as an allegory for the McCarthyism era, reflecting themes of paranoia and the consequences of mass hysteria.
